BIO

ASHKAT, a solo alt pop artist from Brighton, is an alluring and vivacious blend of FKA Twigs, Grimes and Kate Bush. Her music weaves from innocent and enchanting to expansive and powerful through her enigmatic songwriting - exploring the human experience in all its most ugly and beautiful glory - and synth heavy production.

ASHKAT’s impressive live performances have seen her play festivals such as Shambala, Isle of Wight and Into the Wild and venues such as Dublin Castle & Electrowerkz (London), Jam Jar (Bristol) and The Hope and Ruin (Brighton).

With radio support from BBC Sussex & Surrey when they made her previous release ‘BBC Introducing Track of the Day’, ASHKAT is ready to bring her synth filled pop to the airwaves and mesmerising live looping and mixing to more live audiences across the country (ASHKAT is internationally recognised as the UK’s best live electronic music performer by Ninja Tune’s Ill-Esha’s Live Beats Competition in 2022).
